The Barn Original has proudly been in business for over 90 years. Our burgers and ribs served in a speakeasy atmosphere with rustic décor have made us well known. Since we bragged about the ribs, let’s start with that. We have the best ribs in NJ that are prepared fresh with love daily. Our Barn Burger isn’t something to take lightly either, made with fresh beef and toppings while being declared “Best in New Jersey” by NJ Magazine! Keep it light with the Barn Salads that feature fresh greens and homemade dressings. And as always, you can frequent our bar to wet your whistle the way you like best. Cheers!Our casual family eatery is located in an old fruit barn. There is no sign out front, look for the lights wrapped around a tree opposite the Sicomac School. We’ll keep an eye out for ya! Established in 1929. The founder of The Barn had a car dealership during The Great Depression in the early 1900’s. It was put out of business soon after the bottom falling out of the economy. During this time, his crew starting hanging out in a barn and they made liquor to drink and pass time. It turned into a speakeasy that has grown and adapted to its patrons ever since.
