Meows Corner

We rescue & find homes for homeless cats.We partner with rescues who save cats and kittens at risk of euthanasia in high kill shelters and cats facing homelessness on the streets, and house them in our cafes. Once they are at our cafes, we care for our cats and kittens and work to get them adopted until they find their homes. As our cats are adopted, our partners bring us more cats. Established in 2018. In 2017 I approached my husband to get a cat. What was one more pet when we already had a dog, 4 birds, 7 fish, a hamster and 5 kids all under one roof. What I didn’t realize is he was allergic to cats so it was a no go. But me and the kids didn’t give up. After taking my son to a travel soccer game out of town we went by a cat cafe where we fell in love with the concept. I needed to bring this concept to northern VA not only to get my cat fix but also to provide a better living for them. So between that trip and my husbands allergy we came up with the idea of Meows Corner a place where you can eat, shop, play and adopt. So now while my husbands is saving lives around the world with his work at a international humanitarian organization, I get to help to make a better life for cats right here near home.
