Jacobs table was founded on the idea that all people are connected by a common thread, FAMILY! Whatever your family unit is made up of, we all yearn for family connection. Jacobs table all began in a little café on the streets of London. As I was sitting in the café I noticed one particular gentleman in a suit rummaging through the garbage can, who pulled out a half-eaten sandwich. I offered to buy him a fresh meal. He explained to me that while he wasn’t homeless, he had lost his employment and couldn’t afford food. He stated that he yearned for a healthy fresh meal and there weren’t a lot of options for people with little money. He was too embarrassed to ask his family for help. That’s when Jacobs Table was born. I am determined to provide healthy options at an affordable price to support families in transition. For those challenged with homelessness, loss of family, abusive situations, unemployment, or medical struggles a good meal with family and loved ones makes such a difference. We desire to help and support all people facing life’s challenge’s. The idea is simple, when you’re here you’re family. When you purchase a meal from Jacobs Table you are making a difference in the life of someone in transition. Each night we provide food to those in transition throughout Georgia to help someone in need. Every family has a story. Welcome to ours…. Established in 2018.
