We’ve been in business for 30 years. Chinese food has evolved alot during those time. People are eating healthier, and better ingredients. Our products are 100% sourced in the US. Best quality fish, seafood, meats and produce are all from the Hunts’ Point Mkt right here in New York. Our cuisine is different because we don’t believe in cooking with lots of sauce and seasoning that lots of Chinese restaurants do. Give it a try, and you will understand!! Looking forward to serving you… Established in 1984. Hunan Taste was started by Mr. Hu in 1984. Back then Chinese food was simpler and more old fashioned. There weren’t that many choice of ingredients available. In 1993, Calvin, Mr. Hu’s son became involved in the business started to spice things up a bit. Modernizing the decor, updating the menu and the bar…sort taking the classic and add a little twist to it. Business exploded. We haven’t slowed down ever since. We are still refining what know best and becoming in tune with what our patrons are demanding nowadays. Please give us a try.
