We specialize in hair color, color correction, highlights, haircuts, thinning hair treatments, hair extensions and wedding parties, skin care and nail services. Established in 1974. The company opened it’s door in 1974 under the name of Suburban Salon. When the original owner retired in 1993 one of their stylist took it over and changed it’s name to Head First Styling Salon. In 2012 Michelle and Fernando purchased the salon and renamed it The Hair Department. They continued to build upon the 40 year legacy while focusing on Team-service and training the next generation of stylist. Within five years the company has grown to include a second location and a cosmetology academy. We have a long and successful history of doing hair. Experience in beauty is in our DNA.
