How long have you been a stylist?I have been styling hair in various different ways since high school…. But the event that sealed the deal was when my best friend and I got “over glued” by a friend in college, and out of frustration my BF said “Hey, I bet we could do each other sew ins. It doesn’t look so hard, just like sewin clothes”…. And the rest is history. We did an awesome job on our first sew ins and I have been whippin my hair ever since. So that’s about a good 6 + years. Over the years my technique has improved, tremendously.I started Genielocs by Dezi this year as a way to share my art with the rest of the world. I thoroughly enjoy playing with exuberant colors to create fun, unique, and sophisticated protective styles.
