On the second floor of Daikaya is the Izakaya, featuring eclectic and tasty small plates inspired by the taverns/ pubs in Japan. We also have an extensive bar list featuring rare Japanese whiskeys, beers, shochu, sake, and creative cocktails. Happy hour specials are also available every day from 5 pm to 7 pm at both the bar and tables. Perfect for groups, date nights, special occasions, after-work drinks, or if you’re just treating yourself to dinner for one. Established in 2013. Our 3 partners wanted to open a Japanese restaurant in DC that not only served great food but also had great ambiance. Ramen being the focus as well as a great bar/Izakaya to compliment the space.
