Established in 1983. In 1983, a pregnant Debbie Nachreiner & husband Rob began the build-out of C’zar Hair Design & Day Spa in the quaint riverfront neighborhood of Naperville, IL. It was a 5-chair boutique salon positioned on the second floor of a vintage walk-up studio. Meanwhile, Evonne Rutz had been working as a licensed cosmetologist and barber in both Illinois and in Northern California for several years. At their first meeting, Debbie and Evonne became the best of friends and seemed to be kindred spirits. They often joke their souls have been connected in a past life together. The two became official business partners in 1988 and have blended their families and careers successfully since. Fast forward to today, over 30 years later, and see that they’ve grown that 5-chair studio to three locations with over 80 employees. They credit their success to employing only NICE people who are humble and driven to creating excellence in their work.
