Recently ranked 6th in the country by Guilty Eats, and voted best Mediterranean seafood restaurant in Illinois by Luxlife Magazine, Chrissoulas is a locally owned and operated restaurant in Libertyville, IL, focusing on made in house modern dishes inspired by Greek and Mediterranean flavors. Join us for Sunday Brunch as well from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm, and enjoy our outdoor, dog-friendly private patio! Established in 2018. Chrissoulas has been a dream of local brothers and Libertyville High School Alumni Nick and Theo Dimitriou since 2008, when they together enrolled and were accepted to one of the top ten leading culinary schools in the nation, Kendall College in downtown Chicago.The brothers have been working towards opening this restaurant for ten years – gaining experience, followers, and expertise. When the opportunity to open in Libertyville, where both Nick and Theo grew up and went to high school ( classes of ’03 and ’07 ) was offered, they moved mountains to make it happen. Named for and after their Yiayia (Greek for Grandma) and opening in their hometown where they have made so many memories with family and friends is truly a dream realized.
