Established in 1914. Welcome to Camille’s on historic Federal Hill,a Rhode Island dining landmark now celebrating over 100 YearsThe Original Camille’s Roman Garden was established in 1914 at 174 Atwells Avenue by Pasquale Parolisi. The restaurant was named Marconi’s Restaurant, in honor of Guglielmo Marconi, the wireless inventor. In 1919 the restaurant was moved into the current location, an old mansion at 71 Bradford Street. Then, in 1926, the restaurant expanded and was renamed Marconi’s Roman Garden. The business flourished under the management of Pasquale and his three sons. In 1952 the eldest son John, and his wife Camille, acquired the restaurant and changed the name to Camille’s Roman Garden.Presently the restaurant, now known as Camille’s, is continuing the tradition. Stunning renovations have transformed our legendary restaurant and renewed our culinary spirit. We insist on serving our guests only the finest ingredients the world has to offer.
