Rudra Management and Rosewood Hotels has completed its five-year project to renovate and transform the long-vacant former Hooker/Dunlop office building into a new 105-room hotel, located at 2761 Long Road.Set in a 72,000-square-foot building on 28.8 acres, the new three-story hotel includes a rooftop lounge, a breakfast bar area, a large lobby, two business meeting rooms, a fitness room and an indoor pool.Constructed in the 1960s for Hooker Chemical & Plastics Corp., the building was taken over by Dunlop Tire in the 1970s, but has been vacant since Dunlop moved out in 1993.
