We use ancient techniques to create an authentic product. Our pizza comes out crisp, tender and is magically touched by wood smoke. Our pasta and desserts are all made in house. Food is an art form and we make sure to pay attention to every detail.The centerpiece of Burrata is our wood fired oven. Our shimmery, gold-tiled, hearth wood fired oven traces its lineage over a century to Naples, Italy, and is the hand built work of 3rd generation master craftsman, Stefano Ferrara. This oven is insulated with the volcanic soil of Mount Vesuvius. Like the pizza inside, our hearth is created blending traditional components and methods with modern ingenuity and know-how.At BURRATA – Wood Fired Pizza, the philosophy is simply pure, fresh and passionate pizza. “It’s a canvas, you can paint anything on.” Established in 2012. Burrata Wood Fired Pizza began serving Eastchester in 2012. This is a Neapolitan style eatery specializing in the artisan techniques of Italy. All of the pizza is made in a “huge, shimmery gold-tiled hearth wood fired oven imported from Naples.” It is our mission to make pizza as it was made in the old neighborhoods of Naples, and we do not sacrifice quality for anything.
