I grew up on a small family farm with my parents and two younger sisters in Massachusetts. I moved to the big city of Boston and began my career at an upscale salon on Newbury Street. After feeling burnt out from two years in a fast moving, over-stimulating, toxic salon environment, I decided it was time for change. I had six months of adventure and exploration while traveling cross country and eventually landing in Olympia. From my time in Boston, I recognize the importance of self-care and taking time to nurture ourselves. The Beauty Temple was born out of a vision and longing to create a truly nurturing and intimate salon experience.
