Portuguese and Brazilian restaurant serving everything from the freshest fish to the most tender cuts of meat to the most succulent poultry. Fresh vegetables and rice and beans accompany every meal and desserts seduce even the most discerning eye. Our popular appetizers include Chef’s Shrimp served in a creamy fresh tomato & brandy sauce, stuffed clams, traditional Portuguese Caldo Verde. For entrees we have succulent Chillean Sea Bass, Branzini, Halibut, Paelha, Fishermans Stew and not forgetting our popular Tenderloin, Ribeye & Sirloin Steak dishes .We have some great Seasonal Summer Specials that our chef has introduced: Gazpacho Andaluzia (Fresh Tomato Puree, with Cucumber, Celery,& Red Pepper), Filet of Fresh Sardines (Served Cold topped with Finely Sliced Onions & Carrots), Poached Wild Salmon (Served on a Bed of Arugula and Cucumbers), Maryland Soft Shell Crabs (Fried or Pan-Sautéed in a Light Cognac Sauce), Cold Seafood Salad (of Jumbo Shrimp, Squid, New Zealand Green Mussels & Octopus). Established in 1993. While the restaurant opened its doors in 1993, its history actually begins much earlier. Owner and Manager, Manuel Cabral, began imagining and designing his ideal restaurant as a young boy in Portugal. After working in various restaurants in Portugal’s capital city, Lisbon, Manuel (Manny) came to the United States where he continued learning his craft in restaurants throughout New York City. Understanding and knowing the importance of freshness and quality in preparation, he called upon Tony Correia , Head Chef. who brought with him years of experience in a 5 star restaurant in Portugal. After gathering his quality staff, Manny settled in Westchester County to open Aquario–the restaurant of his dreams and hard work.
