This born and bred Angeleno always knew he was meant for a career in beauty; he shares, “I knew from early on that I wanted to be a part of the industry that makes people feel and look their very best.”Andrew Velazquez represents a unique approach and dynamic menu of makeup artistry, eyebrow shaping, hair styling, education, fashion individuality and creative self awareness. Established in 2000. Making people look and feel beautiful is truly what Andrew does best. Andrew has a background in Fashion Design, Arts and is a licensed Cosmetologist. He began his career as the Lead Makeup Artist at Aveda Spa and then a year later moved to Gauthier Total Image Spa. His artistry evolution took off at M·A·C Cosmetics, where he spent ten years carefully honing his technique and artistry, developing an unerring eye for understanding and translating beauty. While at M·A·C Cosmetics, he quickly joined the management team, where he wore multiple hats from spearheading M·A·C’s globally education programs to overseeing department store accounts and the Los Angeles flagship store, coordinating events, and developing trend-based looks–all further providing him with the necessary tools to be an industry leader.
