Ahead of Hair is a multi-service hair salon. After more than 30 years in business, we are a large, two-location salon offering hair, nail and makeup services. We also offer hair extensions and eyelash extensions, both of which have become very popular. We are constantly educating ourselves on the latest trends in cut and color. We look forward to becoming your favorite new salon! Established in 1977. Starting out in Carytown in May of 1997, Ahead of Hair was a small salon with 5 stylists. In 1980, as the salon grew, Ahead of Hair moved to Sycamore Square in Midlothian. As we train our next generation of stylists thru our associate program, we quickly outgrew our Midlothian location. Our Short Pump salon opened in 2007 and has provided us with room to expand as we continue to grow.
