Àcôté and Safar were founded by Gaston Safar who started cutting hair at a young age at his parents’ salon in France. Before turning 20, he moved to Boston with his family and one year later he opened Safar Coiffure with his brothers Serge and Jean-Pierre. Over three decades later, the name Safar is synonymous with beauty and style. In 1998 Gaston opened Salon acote, offering the best in hair services.
