Established in 2000. Eighteen Eight Fine Men’s Salons was founded in 2000 by two veterans of the hair care industry. From beginnings in S. California, through the rapid growth the company is experiencing across the country, 18|8 remains dedicated to the art of men’s styling and grooming. 18|8 is a reinvention of the barbershop, filling the gap between strip mall clip joint and women’s high end salon. It is meant to appeal to men who enjoy the styling and customized attention they may receive at a women’s salon, but would prefer a more male oriented, semi-private environment. Our stylists are experienced, and receive on-going training and product knowledge to stay on top of current trends as well as refine their overall portfolio of skills. The name 18|8 refers to the addition of 18% chromium and 8% nickel to the alloy steel to create the optimal performing stainless steel. Our vision at 18|8 is to ensure that our clients are optimally groomed to look, feel and perform their best.
