100 Bowls of Soup

Visit our kitchen and retail store and choose from a variety of freshly made soups, stews, chilis and bone broths made from scratch using fresh, local and organic ingredients! We are not a sit down restaurant but we offer a choice of two hot soups to go each day for lunch.Our soups, stews and chilis make a nourishing ready-made meal for lunch or dinner, the next best thing to home cooked food! We offer vegetable and meat based gluten-free and dairy-free options for those on vegan, vegetarian and paleo diets. Our menu changes with the seasons and the availability of fresh, local and organic ingredients. Our soups and broths are sold refrigerated and frozen at our kitchen and small retail store in Herndon, Virginia as well as at MOMs Organic Markets, The Organic Butcher of McLean, Sweet Bites Cafe in McLean, The Local Market in Falls Church, Rebecca’s Natural Foods in Charlottesville VA and online via Washington Green Grocer. Established in 2009. Inspired by my mother-in-law’s Romanian cooking, I started 100 Bowls of Soup with the idea of sharing simple, homemade nourishing soup and broth with friends and family. I wanted to create soup from scratch and real bone broth that was as flavorful and fresh as it was nourishing. I wanted to cook seasonally and get to know the farmers and artisans who grew and raised the ingredients I used.
