Welcome to St. Gabriel Grocery and DeliThe old country store is one of the oldest operating stores in Louisiana. Located in Iberville parish on the River Road south Baton Rouge. The store brings you back to times of days gone by. The store dates back to the 1820’s with old coke bottles, antiques, the LSU football schedules that long the top of the shelves starting from 1958. This was the first year LSU won their first national championship with a picture of the Chinese bandits too. Schedules of the first four years of the New Orleans Saint are also hanging in store. We offer a full deli with fresh homemade Sandwiches, Po-Boys, Hot Boudin, Salads, BBQ Roast beef, Hot Sausage, Cracklins, fresh produces fresh cut deli meat and groceries. We also have all kinds of snacks, old fashion bottle cokes, Cold Beer, and homemade pecan candy. Home cooked lunches on Thursday. Established in 1856. Old Time Grocery store and Deli.
