Clinton Ale House is known for its all-American, family-friendly menu, paired with beer on tap from NYS Craft Breweries. Established in 2018. If you were a fan of the restaurant Taste of Italy in Westmoreland in the 1990s, many of the same recipes will be featured at Clinton Ale House. Ollerenshaw owned the Westmoreland-based restaurant in the 1990s before selling the successful business. Ollerenshaw, who moved to Clinton in 2015, drove by the then-vacant 43 Meadow St. restaurant building many times. He thought it would be a “nice space to do something small” that would highlight “a family atmosphere.” And that’s when Clinton Ale House was born.
