I started out apprenticing with Toni&Guy for over a year. Learning the European way of hair training. Precision Hair cutting, its geometry, etc. WHO KNEW?! I also found out that women with long hair were horrified of hairdressers, because American hairdressers want everybody to have short hair and white stripes. I also noticed none of the women in fashion magazines, beauty products or TV commercials had short, white-striped hair. So I decided that “I WANT my clients hair to look like those women’s hair in shampoo commercials.”
