Fatima and her daughters have always maintained natural hair styles since the late 70’s. In the early 80’s, Fatima was well known for her expertise in braiding around the KSU area (while attending KSU). Later in the 90s she brought her experience to the Akron area. Consequently, Braids & Naturals became a leader in the Natural Hair Care movement. Then in 2001 Braids & Naturals opened inside the Rolling Acres Mall as a full-service beauty salon licensed through the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology. Thereby continuing its legacy of educating and informing new clients about the wonders of natural hair care and styles.We are now presently located in the Fairlawn area. We are known for our expertise and professionalism. And we have maintained a following of loyal clients.
