Over two decades ago a group of Nicaraguan friends living in Miami decided to create a restaurant that would feature the finest Nicaraguan dishes in an ambiance representative of its Spanish colonial architecture. It would be a place where people would be exposed to the Nicaraguan traditions of fine cuisine, personalized service and festive entertainment. In 1985 El Novillo Restaurant came to fruition and thus a Nicaraguan home was transformed into the premier Latin steakhouse.Adhering to true Nicaraguan philosophy we seek only to offer the very best to our customers. The finest cut of beef has always been the tenderloin, which is precisely what is served to satisfy our guest s appetites. Our now famed churrasco steak is a very lean tenderloin, from grass fed cattle, cut and prepared in a special Nicaraguan manner.
