Tres Gatos

Tres Gatos is Boston’s first and only tapas restaurant/ book & record store. We offer a from-scratch menu, an all-Spanish wine list, and the finest craft beers. We also offer live music on a regular basis. Established in 2011. Founder David Doyle opened Rhythm & Muse with his brother Scott in 1998. R&M was never just a book and music store – it was a gathering place, a music venue, an exhibit space, a Scrabble haven and more. The inspiration for Tres Gatos began after R&M moved to its current location in 2002. After sampling tapas bars in Seville, Madrid and Barcelona, David and his wife Maricely became convinced that a tapas bar would complement the book and music store perfectly. Eating tapas is about sampling, sharing, and connecting, and that approach fits perfectly with R&M’s role as a neighborhood indie book and music store. Tres Gatos is the first full-service restaurant, book and record store in Boston, and will proudly continue Rhythm and Muse’s tradition of being a neighborhood hang-out with deep community roots.
