After leaving the famed Le Francais Restaurant in Wheeling, Michael Lachowicz took his passion for French cuisine and several members of the Le Francais team to the North Shore to open his own restaurant. Chef Michael creates a unique experience showcasing his craft and proficiency in modern French cuisine and takes guests on a culinary journey.George Trois is a tasting experience. Offering a 12-course degustation menu, guests are transported to the French countryside with every bite. By limiting the seating to a small and exclusive number of guests each night, Chef Michael is able to attend to each plate with calm, meticulous and detailed vision. The multi-course menus are pre-designed by Chef Michael and his long time team. All items change weekly based on seasonal availability and are exclusive to George Trois guests. Established in 2015. George Trois is an Homage to Chef Michael’s Grandfather and Uncle. Both of whom were named George and were Chefs. Both of these men were great Culinary influences on Chef Michael But more importantly, they were simply great men. George the first and second have both passed but they are remembered and live on each time Chef Michael prepares and delivers a course to this very special room.
