Many of our beers travel beyond Kalamazoo, but some are exclusive to the Café. Just like our brewery in nearby Comstock, this space has changed quite a bit over the years.With 20+ draught options, a full-service restaurant, a luscious Beer Garden, comfortable patio and a state-of-the-art music venue, Bell’s Eccentric Café is the premiere craft beer destination in Michigan.Our kitchen offers inspired fare, made with locally sourced, primarily non-GMO and sustainable ingredients, made from scratch to complement our beer.Right around the corner, is the Bell’s General Store where you can buy Bell’s beer-to-go, Bell’s gear and take advantage of a wide selection of homebrew ingredients, supplies and expertise.Join us for a pint, take a tour of the brewery and see where it all began. Established in 1985. Bell’s Brewery, Inc. began in 1985 with a quest for better beer and a 15 gallon soup kettle. Since then, we’ve grown into a regional craft brewery that employs more than 500 people over an 31 state area, in addition to Puerto Rico and Washington DC. In 2003, we opened a new production brewery in nearby Comstock. This facility has now seen five expansions since then.Despite expansion at our main production facility, we haven’t forgotten our roots, and we continue to brew at our original location in downtown Kalamazoo. Using the same equipment that served us so well for so many years, this space has become home to several specialty projects, as well as brewing an extensive array of brands typically only available at the adjoining Eccentric Café.
