Be prepared for fine dining in a warm and casual atmosphere. 131 MAIN Restaurant opened in August of 2004 when Joe Douglas and Chris Carlsen, the company owners, were in search of a restaurant tenant to fill a vacant space in one of their company’s retail developments. After unsuccessfully identifying a tenant meeting their high quality and fresh food expectations, a college friend who was still in the restaurant industry joined the team to assist in the creation of a great restaurant company. 131 MAIN stands for one idea, three friends and one goal. The goal is to WOW every Guest in a way that creates loyalty. There are currently four 131 MAIN Restaurant locations in North Carolina.
